We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you request a price, and information collected automatically when you use our website.
Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers (see Section 4).
When you enter your property address to get an instant price, we use third-party mapping and imagery services to generate a measurement of your roof (such as its area and, where available, pitch and segments) from current aerial or satellite imagery. We use this measurement to calculate your estimate and, if you order, to help plan and confirm your installation. This data is tied to the address you provide.
We use the information we collect to:
Deposits and payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card or bank information is provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We receive limited details such as confirmation of payment, the payment method type, and the last digits of your card — we do not receive or store your full card number.
If you choose to finance your roof, you may be directed to our third-party financing partner (Hearth) to apply. Any financing application is submitted to and handled by that partner under their own terms and privacy policy. Clavos is not a lender and does not make credit decisions.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text (SMS) messages. We offer two separate types of messaging, and consent to one is not consent to the other:
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for assistance. After you send STOP, we may send one confirmation message.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data is not shared with any third parties except as needed to deliver the messaging service (for example, our messaging platform provider).
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following circumstances:
Some sharing for advertising and analytics may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under certain state privacy laws — see Sections 9 and 10.
Clavos coordinates your roof installation and works with vetted, licensed local roofing professionals. To survey and install your roof, we share the information needed to do the job — such as your name, contact details, property address, roof measurement, and selected product — with the installer or subcontractor assigned to your project. These partners are expected to use your information only to perform your job.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic and performance, and support our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site function. Where required, we will present a cookie or consent banner.
We use analytics and advertising technologies from third parties, including Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and GoHighLevel. These tools may set cookies or collect identifiers, device and usage data, and information about your interactions with our site, and may combine it with data those companies already hold to measure our marketing and show you relevant ads on other platforms.
This use of advertising cookies and pixels may be considered "targeted advertising" or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in Section 10. You can also learn about Google Analytics opt-out tools and manage ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your personal information. To exercise any of these choices, contact us using the details below; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
California residents and residents of other states with privacy laws may have additional rights and may designate an authorized agent to act on their behalf. Contact us to submit a request.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers such as Stripe for payment security. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain order, project, payment, and warranty records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Our website and services are intended for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated policy.
